Limp Bizkit & Poison
Ok, this post has absolutely NOTHING to do with BSL as I've been ranting about previously, but I wanted to share my pictures of some great concerts I've been to. The first is a picture on the tour bus of me and Fred Durst, the singer for Limp Bizkit. He is a distant cousin of mine. My dad, yes that's right, and I were given back stage passes by Fred when he came to a nearby city. He took us all over back stage, showed us his tour bus, and had a special place for us to sit during the concert. He was cool. I have pictures of me and him together with his brother when we were MUCH, MUCH younger, but they're too embarrising for the both of us, so I'm not going to post them! *giggle* (You know how you feel about your old pictures when you were a kid.)
This picture is of me and Brett Michaels, the lead singer of Poison. Yes, I know you're thinking... POISON!?!?!. But in my teen days, I loved this band and so I got to go to a concert with my sister-in-law and her friends with back stage passes. I couldn't pass the opportunity up. Brett liked my sister-in-laws friend, so he took us on a tour of his tour bus. All the guys were nice. At this concert Cinderella was playing also. When we were getting off the bus, Tom Kiefer the lead singer was sitting in a chair in front of his bus. I was so mad at myself, because I didn't have any more film left in my camera, otherwise I would have a picture of him too.

well... this is much more interesting than pics of cars that are parking in my spot :-) Pretty cook though!? So, your related to the guy that was responsible for BURNING down Woodstock! I am sooooo impressed! Tell Fred I said: Whats up... btw: you should get Fred to jump on board your BSL campaign and be the celebrity spokesman. Fitting for this as he is kinda a lyrical pitbull too :-) lol...

I haven't been around any musicians since my first hubby. He was a musician too, so we hung around quite a few.
An exciting life when you're younger, but it wasn't a very stable life for when you get older and understanding responsibility. LOL
PS: Limp Bizkit is one of my fav's! If they are ever in London, Ontario Canada...tell him to look me up. *giggle*

In all actuality, Fred and I are probably about 3rd cousins or so. But it was still pretty cool for him to take me & my dad around backstage the two times he came to our neighboring queen city. I would love for him to be an advocate against BSL, he did have a bully breed at one time... and english bulldog.
