Howl-O-Ween
For those of you that have ever watched the "Lil Rascals" you know the adorable Petey. Well, that was Storm's costume for the PetSmart costume contest yesterda
y evening. OK, the circle isn't quite a circle and the make up ran a little bit, but have you ever tried to draw a circle around a dog's eye? Trust me, it wasn't that easy. Delilah was a "lil' pumpkin" and Rose was the "Best Dawggone Taste Tester".
We took Storm and the Boston Terriers to PetSmart. There were so many people there with their doggies. There were witches, devils, angels, pumpkins, a flower, Elvis, a couple of hotdogs, a couple sharks, and several Hawaiin outfits. The picture with Storm & the shark, the shark
was a tiny, pug puppy. It was precious. All the doggies were just too cute. The rotti was a cute witch, and the corgies well, you can see the picture!
Unfortunately, we didn't win any prizes, but everyone had a great time. Did I mention that Storm was the only AmStaff there? I know... but she WAS on her best behavior.

You guys sure look like you had a great time!
Everyone looks cute there, but Storm looks priceless with that smile.
Wtg Storm showing all of them how well-behaved AmStaffs really are.
Take care!
OMG how cute are they?!?!?!
That is so funny! I totally have to get Cody dressed up this year in his bee costume!
I bet people wouldn't be so scared of him in his Halloween outfit!
Glad to see Stormy-lou feeling better. How is her leg doing?

OMG he looks AWESOME ,
I see you found something that would
come off easy thats great . what did you use ..And I hope STORM
got to take the prize . You all
look like you had a blast ..great pictures
I used some face paint that you find in any store... like the kind you draw on your face to become a clown *yikes* I don't like clowns, scared of them.
But I used the black make up crayon. I also bought some make up remover cloths that did not contain any alcohol, so when I washed her face, it didn't irritate her eyes & nose.
It worked out fairly decent. I just couldn't put her gentle leader on her because it smeared the circle (as you can see), so I had to use her prong while we were out in public.
"Our gang" was my Dad's favorite show when he was a kid. Years later "Our Gangs" name was changed to the "Little Rascals". And of-course when it came onto TV, we (my 3 brothers and I) watched it, too. The pup "Pete" was always my favorite. And you have captured his look in "Storm's" eye, ha, ha!
All the Dogs look like winners to me, it would have been hard to choose just one as winner!
Thanks for the tip on the collar, I will have to get "Jengibre" one.
I don't know why cats can't wear them, though.
Your Pond fish question I answered under your question on my blog. Otherwise this would have been a long comment!
What an amazing time you all must have had!!! EVERYONE looks FANTASTIC! Aren't dog lovers crazy!!! You bet! Crazy in love with their dogs!
I have to decide whether to continue to take Shasta out for Halloween as an Arabian Princess, or go to the City Hall meeting that they are holding on...you guessed it, HALLOWEEN! While one is soooo much FUNNNN!!! The other soooo important.
I look at all the happy doggies and think, I want that for Shasta too. The meeting will tell us the new bylaws. No speakers, so I could hear the news the next day. Would be nice to show support though...but would be nice to give Shasta the opportunity to dress up again.
Decisions...decisions?????
So perfect of a costume for Storm. Such a (not so simple circle) was all it took for a perfect costume. You're amazing!!!
wow.. looks like u have great fun bringing Storm for the PetSmart costume contest.
and yeah, those doggies are just so cute with thier costumes (judging from the pics) haha..
It was fun... looking at all the people that love their dogs so much was heart warming.
I just wish there would have been some more pitties there, to help show the positive side!
Hey Kitty, there were sooo many cuties there it would have been hard to choose!
The doggies are so cute with their costumes :)
