My new bike!

I'm back again!!! Today I picked up my new bike. Well it's not "new", but it's new to me!! It's a 2004 Ninja 250. I know it's a small bike, but hey... I'm just starting out. I'm going to learn how to ride this and if I decide I like riding, then I'll get me a 600. Here is a picture of what mine looks like...

I'm really excited. I can't wait to learn how to ride. I drove it about the length of a football field tonight when I got it home, I was so scared. It was dark & chilly.

The next thing I need to buy is a side cart so I can take Storm riding! *giggle*

Nice. I love any vehicle that sends wind whistling through my ears.

You make me shudder! Be careful! Stay away from drivers blind spots, be very careful of driveways. I have had friends that were hit by people backing out of thier driveways and did not see the biker. And you are learning in the dark, another shudder! Girl, have you ever thought of just a lovely nice long walk for you and Storm! Ha, ha!
Now I will worry and I hate to worry. I have become very fond of you two! I know its not like your Bungi jumping or sky diving, but just be careful, please!

Thank you all VERY MUCH! And believe me, I will be careful! I'm too scared to do anything yet, I've got to find a big church parking lot or something to practice in first!!! I'm going to do all the paperwork today (tag, insurance), so that I'll be all legal! Don't be too worried about me, I'll be fine. :)

Yeah, I know too!

hahaha... faira, u seem too worried.

but ya... be careful too :)

and to be frank, i think i cant even balance that bike properly when idle.

ive almost fell once, when im about to balance a kawasaki 250(forgot model), the side became too heavy and almost crashed on my legs LOL!!!!

That bike looks kinda scary to me, but a sidecar could be fun! Will Storm get a helmet too?

Remember to get a side car big enough for Storm, me and Bubba! Just kidding! Congrats! What a woman!!

Andee-
That's actually a great color - not because it's pretty (it is!) but it's going to help you stand out from traffic! I'm sure you remember in class the importance of wearing bright clothes so that people can see you. Well, it's even better if your entire motorcycle can get folks attention!

I had a yellow motorcycle a few years ago and I'm convinced that people were able to see me quicker because of it.

Be careful out there! Remember what you learned ;-)
