Watching

Over the weekend, we put Storm out on a line, so that she could play outside with the boston terriers. The bostons will stay in close proximity of us, but Storm if given an inch will take a mile, literally. So we have rigged her flexi-leash to be able to hook it to the zip-line. On this line, we’ve put a clamp to stop how far over she’s able to go. (When she goes too far, she can get into dirt & mud, which isn’t good for everyone's carpet!)

For some unknown reason, Storm has taken a fancy to this clamp. She’s almost neurotic with it. She stares at it, walks in circles looking at it, and stands on her hind legs to look at it. So to cure her curiosity of the clamp, I picked her up so that she could get close to it and see what it was. What did she do??? She snapped at it & licked it, then jumped down and started watching it again. I can’t figure out what it is that is making her so crazy over this thing.

Aww, look at cute Storm! That would never work for my dear Cody. He would rip that thing off, or chew it until he was loose. I have had other dogs who loved there outdoor runs on the zip line, but not Cody, he would destroy it. Good thing we have a nice fenced in backyard.

I hope you guys are doing well! Give Stormy-Lou a hug for me, she is such a cutie!

Like Sam i am said, it's so apparant that Storm's so smart and trying to figure out how to 'defeat' that thing.

That first pic of him is so so adorable. I love the way he looks at the flexi-leash with that smile. I want to hug him so bad!

Take care!

I know that thing stops me from going as far over as I can, darn it... I'm just trying to figure out how to move it, so that I can go play where there's lots of fun dirt & stuff to dig.

Storm is so cute..

I remember what my dog did as well when we bought the feather duster back few days ago..
He stares and looks at the feather duster for so long.. (This is the first time he sees a feather duster).
Then he starts brushing his body against the feather duster..
He gets annoyed when we removed the feather duster away :D
