You can call me flower...
I was looking out my dormer window in my bedroom today as I was watering my Gerbera Daisy. Today with all the cold weather around, I thought I would take a picture & post to remind us of the spring time. My mom gave me this Gerbera Daisy for my birthday; I can't believe it's still alive! It got a little scary there for a week or so when I forgot to water it. But luckily it perked back up. These are my favorite types of flowers. I think they are just the cutest.
Don't get me wrong, I love the fall and winter, but just seeing this flower brings a warm, fuzzy feeling. *giggle* (Just being silly.)

My mommy loves Gerbera Daisies too, she thinks this one is gorgeous. Nice picture! Brrrrr...it's very cold here. Hopefully we will get some snow!
Amstaffie,
my mum loves Gerbera daisy three... haha!!
colorful, affordable price and carefree!!
but, pls water it sometime!!
Wow, that's a beautiful flower and the pic is spectacular! I can clearly see the hair on the leaves.
Thanks for sharing!
I used to have 10 green thumbs... meaning if I saw even a hint of green on it anywhere, I could save it and it would grow beautiful. Half the time I had no idea what I was saving until it got bigger. My place was loaded with plants and flowers and I love them sooo much!
Since I got sick though, I lost all my green thumbs. If you want to see a flower or plant die, just bring it over. I talk to them, encourage them when they have babies, play music for them, but they all end up the same. Sometimes I think I should just spray paint the twigs left green and it would look like I have plants. ROFL
Did you ever consider taking up photography? You are amazing!!!
what a beautiful flower you have there!
reminds me of my office.
we have 3 pots of plants and i'm the only one to water the plants!

ryn: I picked Orion's name because of the constellation, and the Mythological God the constellation is named for. We have high hopes!!! :) Hopes of becoming an agility star! But, whether he becomes an agility star or not, he is defintely a star already! He certainly thinks he is! :)
Nice to see something so pretty still blooming. We had a hard freeze last night so what ever I had blooming in the garden before is frozen stiff now!
