It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas - sort of...

Ok, here is my pathetic, plain attempt at decorating a Christmas tree. By no means do I have the talent that Faira has, maybe she can give me a few pointers!

The first pic of the front of my house. Notice the TINY bush to the side... it has lights. Wa-hoo!

Next, the table beside my stairs. It has the Santa photos & a piney centerpiece. You can't see the runner, but it is cute with Cardinals on trees in the snow.

And at last, the Christmas tree. This was taken looking down from the loft. I've been in this house for 2 years now and just last month, I put up some curtains. Normally, the couch is sitting in front of the windows. Storm likes to walk by the tree & knock the balls off with her tail. Silly girl.

Now if only I could transport you a few truck full of snow you would be dong fantastic! You've got more done than me. I'm going to do one of those last minute rush jobs again, I can tell...but it will be picture perfect as I'm used to the rush. *giggle*
Let m know if I should sent the snow.

Good work! I still can’t think of any place other than right in front of the back door for our tree. When we had Uma, I put all the breakable ornaments above Labrador tail range! This will be Rockwell’s first tree so we shall see how it goes...

Hello Conners! Please send us some snow!!! We only had ice a couple of days ago, luckily it's all melted now. I'd love to have a bunch of snow!

AG, Vielen Dank! Ich wünsche Dir einen schönen Tag.

Juliar, that's a good idea, breakables at least 3ft+ up on the tree! I'm sure Rockwell will do great!

What would Christmas be without whacking an ornament or two off the tree with your tail?

Amstaffie said...

That's exactly right Hank! Got to do it at least a couple of times.

It's really funny because I have wrapped Storm's present, (shhh don't tell her it's a bone) & had to put it up out of the way because she keeps trying to tear into it. I think they'll be some good pictures coming up for Christmas!

A Little Prayer

As I'm laying here in bed
This tiny little prayer
Keeps running
thru my head

God bless my mom and dad
And bless my little pup
And look out for my brother
When things aren't looking up

And God, there's one more thing
I wish that you could do
Hope ya don't mind me asking
But please bless my computer too??

Now I know that's not normal
To bless a machine
But just listen a second
While I explain to you, my Lord.

You see, that little metal box
Holds more than odds & ends
Inside those small compartments
Rest hundreds of my 'BEST FRIENDS'

Some it's true I've never seen
And most I've never met
We've never exchanged hugs
Or shared a meal a yet....

I know for sure they like me
By the kindness that they give
And this little scrap of metal
Is how I travel to where they live

By faith is how I know them
Much the same as you
I share in what life brings them
From that our friendship grew

"PLEASE" take an extra minute
From your duties up above
To bless this scrap of metal
That's filled with so much love!

Wow Sam I Am, what a precious poem. I've honestly never thought of the 'puter like that! But it's absolutely true! Now I'll look at my lil' scrap of metal in a different light now! Thank you!

Hi Robin! Thanx for visiting! Storm is really excited.

Today she was wagging her tail in front of the Christmas tree, hitting a little jingle bell hanging on the tree making it jingle jingle jingle.

Storm, I am glad your Mom cleared that up, I thought the tree was a miniature Christmas tree and that the window was a decorated heating vent. I thought how sweet that your Mom decorated an area just for you, LOL! I must still have cobwebs in my brain from trying to get everything ready for the big day!Ha, ha!

I love your home Storm! BEAUTIFUL! And ... a big play ground for you too.
