The love of a dog...

It’s amazing how much the unconditional love of a dog can change how you feel. If you’ve had a bad day at work, school, or just in general, when you get home and your dog comes running up to greet you all the problems wash away for a bit. They don’t care what kind of day you’ve had, they’re just happy to see you. They appreciate the little scratch behind the ear, chin scratch, or belly rub; just the littlest bit of attention is appreciated. Why can’t in some ways, we be more like a dog?

What a wonderful picture of the 2 of you,How right you are.Not matter what,He is your friend, your partner, your defender, your dog. You are his life. his love, his leader. He will be yours, faithful and true, to the last beat of his heart. You owe it to him to be worthy of such devotion.

That is one beautiful pic - one I'm sure you'll treasure for life.

I agree - if we could all be more like dogs this place would be a better place.

Take care!

Well said my friend.
And also ...
Dogs never hold a grudge.
A dog can watch TV with you all day and not get bored.
It's all the same to a dog whether you live in a trailer or mansion.
A dog thinks you are the smartest human alive.

No wonder dogs are humans best friend :)

By the way, that's a beatiful photo of you:)

Thank you all very much. It's hard to explain how a dog can make you feel like the luckiest person in the world.

Sounds like you have the right idea. People really ought to try to emulate dogs in some ways. But those opposable thumbs humans have sure do have a way of coming in handy. Those, at least, I recommend keeping. Say hi to Storm.

My dogs are ingrates. They only come to me when they're hungry. But I love them anyway.

I personally can't be like a dog because its too hard to eat food using my face.
