Storm ~ AmStaff Poem

This is just a silly little poem I wrote about Storm. Don't laugh too hard, I'm not really a poet.

Just trying to lighten my mood a bit. I've been working waaay too much lately.

Storm is my AmStaff, aka pit bull.
She is so sweet and so lovable.
She couldn't do anything considered terrible.

To Storm I love to do this,
I get her attention and tell her to give me a kiss-kiss.
She touches her nose to mine just like an eskimo kiss.

She likes to go out, run around, and play
and comes up to me as if to say,
mommie play chase with me on this pretty day.

She stops to read the daily news,
that some other dog left to view,
but that's ok, she stops me from stepping in the poo.

She loves to chase a bird or squirrel
up a tree, it gives her a whirl.
She is such a funny, little girl.

In my house, she is really good.
She chases her ball as fast she could
and goes sliding across the floor of wood.

When going up the stairs,
you'd better be aware,
she'll zoom up them with out a care.

Other times she goes slower and lighter,
then you hear a poot come out from behind her.
She turns around to sniff, then looks to say... it's a barking spider!

When I'm with her, I can't help but let out a giggle.
I scratch her back and she shakes a little wiggle.
Her tags start to jingle and jiggle.

When it's time to go to bed,
on the pillow, we both lay our heads.
It's off to sleep with doggie dreams in her head.

I love my little Storm.
