Chimney Rock (again)

Here are some pics of our ride today. There were 9 bikes (10 people) today in the group. It was a MUCH nicer ride today than two weeks ago to Chimney Rock. Beautiful weather, NO RAIN... and it wasn't even too hot. It wasn't crowed either.

A very pleasant trip indeed.

Here are a couple more pics from Labor Day weekend's trip...

The picture of Donna, Melissa, and me was taken at a gas station before we had gotten to Chimney Rock. We were already tired from riding and little did we know what was awaiting ahead...

I envey you girl friend. You are accomplishing one of my dreams I could never do. What fun it would be to join you.
There are so many different rides for things right now. Around here is another colour ride for Breast Cancer. Do you ever do sponsored runs?

Chimney Rock Park is the natural fulfillment of your trip to the mountains. Take a deep breath of refreshing mountain air, become invigorated by our hiking trails, and let your cares fade away in the cool mists of Hickory Nut Falls. This is the perfect place to reconnect with nature and spend time with family and friends.
